My research and creative activity questions and investigates the process of design and explores how it can act as an agent for change in society. My work is interdisciplinary, experimental, (sometimes) self-referential, (often) introspective and strategic at its core. In my role at UWG, I teach undergraduate and foundations courses in graphic design, typography, professional practices and capstone research.
Previously, I have worked with multidisciplinary design firms, in Chicago, London and New Delhi, where I’ve enjoyed working on branding campaigns, publication design, digital media, packaging design and several grant-funded projects with collaborators in the fields of science, healthcare, education, arts and other non-profits.
Mindfulness and reflection play a major role in my teaching and practice. In my spare time I often meditate, practice yoga and enjoy going on long walks (often listening to podcasts such as Huberman Lab, the Gathering Pod by Martha Beck, Teachings of Eckhart Tolle and We Can Do Hard Things by Glennon Doyle to name a few)
