Rooted in interdisciplinary exploration, my approach to design is experimental, introspective, and strategic, often incorporating self-referential inquiry. As a faculty member at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), I teach graduate and foundational courses in 2D design, color theory, graphic design, typography, professional practices, and capstone research, guiding students in both conceptual exploration and applied design practice.

Beyond teaching, I maintain an active studio practice, working across collage, experimental typography, innovative image-making, painting, and artist books. My creative work explores memory, perception, and visual storytelling, with a particular focus on the design process itself—not just in creation, but in unmaking, deconstruction, and reinterpretation. I investigate how existing works, whether my own or others’, can be dismantled, recontextualized, and reassembled to construct new meanings and narratives. This process-driven approach engages with history, materiality, and transformation, reinforcing the dynamic relationship between artistic experimentation and design pedagogy.

I have worked with multidisciplinary design firms in Chicago, London, and New Delhi, contributing to branding campaigns, publication design, digital media, packaging, and grant-funded projects. These collaborations, spanning fields such as science, healthcare, education, the arts, and non-profits, have broadened my understanding of design’s impact across industries.

At the core of my teaching philosophy and creative practice is a commitment to mindfulness and reflection. I believe that cultivating awareness and intentionality enhances both design thinking and problem-solving. Outside of work, I integrate these values into daily life through meditation, yoga, and long walks, which serve as spaces for creative inspiration and deeper contemplation.
